In this month's Eek-A-Bug we cover a few old issues and a new one or two. For old issues:

• The mystery of the disappearing capture tool palette in Snapz Pro may be getting closer to a solution. A user who lives nearby experiences this bug very frequently, fortunately for us, unfortunately for him, but he has offered us access to his machine if need be to get to the bottom of this bug once and for all. Andrew knows the part of the code he needs to go over, so we hope he'll determine a cause once and for all.

• Speaking of Snapz Pro, if you are updating to OS8.5, and I do recommend it (Sherlock rocks!!), be sure you have version 1.1.0 of Snapz Pro. I've heard from users with 1.0.1 having problems. Updating to Snapz Pro 1.1.0 has taken care of the problem every time. Go to:

• Also, we're still looking into the best solution for Apeiron and its iMac troubles. Unfortunately, we're committed to other projects for the near future, so we can't spare any programming resources until after the first quarter of next year. Believe me, we'd love to give a definite answer sooner, after all, 280,000 iMacs is a lot of machines ;-), but we just don't want to spread ourselves too thin.
• The release of the 1.0.1 update to EVO seems to have taken care of it's outstanding issues. If you still have a problem, let me know at help@ambrosiasw.com.
