Manditraki Warrior
Any platform game worth its salt has bosses and Ferazel's Wand is no
exception. Before you can leave the caves and see the blue sky for the
first time, you will need to defeat a Manditraki Warrior. It's a lot easier
and faster than any of the other levels you've been on so far, so let's
get going. If you have any comments or problems with this guide, you can
email me.
I welcome all criticisms, good and bad.

Picture 1 |
You find yourself in an odd cave with a background that moves eerily.
Use the candles if you want to and then head left to the next screen.

By now you've gotten very familiar with the Fireball Spell. Using it
to kill enemies and break walls and you might think to use it for
this guy as well. However, when you get to him you find that you can't
use anything besides your knife. Switching to the statue spell and
trying to use it results in the knife being selected instead. All
the while the warrior is going back and forth and throwing his weapon
across the room. Your knife can't get through his hard shell, so what
do you do? |

There are platforms that appear and disappear and you need to use
them to get on the statue with the rock on it as I am in Picture
2. You need to move towards the rock so that it gets pushed onto
the warrior's head. Be sure to go to one edge of the statue because
another rock will fall after you push a rock over the side and it
hurts. Push ten rocks onto his head and he disappears in a cloud
of pixels. His death means the stone door to open but before you
leave, go to the right and back to Picture 3. Spin Jump so that
the Ziridium Brine gets revealed. This is the only secret in this
level. Then you go back to the left and through the door.

There are a lot of goodies here. Use the save point if you want
and then grab the shield and Heart Crystal. Just like the one in
the Eastern Reaches, this one adds another notch to your health
bar. Leave and revel in your 100%
score of secrets.
