Rochester, NY -- May 5th, 1996 -- Today Ambrosia Software, publisher of award winning Macintosh software, announced the start of the official High Score Contest for its ball-busting arcade game Barrack.
We're looking for the best of the best. You got what it takes? Prove it. Ambrosia Software will give $300 to the registered Barrack user with the highest score. Running until July 31st 1996, the Barrack High Score Contest is the perfect opportunity to kick some Bosco butt and prove yourself the best plasma-swinging shooter in the land. Second and third prize winners will win $100 and $50, respectively, for their demonstrated prowess. The top fifty Barrack-bangers all receive a way cool official Ambrosia Software Barrack t-shirt.
Developed by Greg Lovette, Ambrosia's Barrack has chewed up and spit out more players than you can shake a mouse at. Now once and for all, we'll see who deserves to have Bosco kneel in supplication before them.
Current contest front-runners will be announced in each issue of Inside Mac Games and The Ambrosia Times. Deadline for entry is July 31st 1996, and winners will be announced in the September issues of The Ambrosia Times and Inside Mac Games. All entries and high score codes must be sent to Ambrosia Software.
To enter you must be a registered user of Barrack, and have the newly released Barrack version 1.0.1, which has been specially modified for the contest.
