New Shareware
Don’t think we are hoarding your shareware fees, saving up for that brand new shark skin leisure suit. We are funneling your fees right into new services and new development.
After the successful launch of Swoop, Ambrosia has a few more rabbits to pull out of its shareware hat. Working with select independent developers, Ambrosia is able to drastically reduce the time needed to bring a new project to market. Here are a few projects we are currently working on:

Apeiron Bug Report
If you have version 1.0.0 of Ambrosia’s Apeiron, you need to upgrade to version 1.0.1 or higher. There was some date sensitive code in the original release version of Apeiron that will cause you Mac to crash upon exit. For full details, check out July’s issue of The Ambrosia Times.
Under Construction
Having settled into our new office, Ambrosia has started work on its own in house World Wide Web page. Like all of our other endeavors, we want our home page to be top notch. This takes some time, elbow grease and several quarts of Arizona Ginseng Iced Tea daily, so please be patient.
If there are features, effects, or services offered at other WWW page sites, clue us in. Ambrosia’s home page is to play an important part in Ambrosia’s high level of customer service. Since you are the customers, we are always open for new ideas on how best to serve you.
Windows ’95
Well, ten years later Billy Gates and his band of merry coders seem to have caught up to the 1984 Mac Operating System. A lot of folks out there are saying this will be the death of the Macintosh . Me thinks most of those folks are silly DOS dudes.
The staff here at Ambrosia celebrated the release of Windoze ’95 by taking a five minute break to run around the office singing “Who’s afraid of the big bad wolf...” Although MicroSoft may have captured some of the technical abilities of the older Mac OS, there is still the spirit of the Mac — that empowered feeling you get when you sit in front of one of these elegant machines.
My DOS friends were excited about the release of Windows ’95, and were talking about it as well as a similar advance in hardware. It seems the new Compaq PC’s will actually recognize, by themselves, how much RAM has been added to the system. With software and hardware advances like these they were getting downright dizzy. I did not want to burst their bubble and point out that some new Mac models have screwless casings, and the guts actually fold out on hinges so that even your pet parakeet can install new RAM (which of course your Mac will recognize right away.)
